It is important to choose the correct size of ball and have it inflated
properly.
When seated on the ball, your thigh should be parallel or
slightly above parallel to the ground. For those with back pain, a
slightly larger ball is often better, so the thighs are above parallel.
As a rough guide, 22" balls are most suitable
for people who are up to 5' 4" tall, 26" balls up to 5' 10" tall and 30" balls for those over 5' 10" tall. If borderline or you have long legs, the next ball up is usually the better choice.
